Philip Peters is Chief Executive Officer of Zagada Markets, a boutique business development analytics firm. He co-directs the Zagada Institue, and is lead analyst and author of the company’s signature research reports. He recently joined The William Davidson Institute at University of Michigan Davidson Institute as an Expert Nearshore Bloger.
Peters has developed mastery in the practice of business development analytics. He is the author of the Tig protocol™ and Digital GNP™ White Papers which systematize business development growth theory as strategic management practice on par with marketing, operations and finance. Peters is the author of three books. His book Caribbean WOW 2.0 impacted the passage by U.S. Congress and signage of a bill by the president, making June Caribbean American Heritage Month. Peters was invited to the White House in celebration. His latest book project, The Enchantment Economy is scheduled for publication in Fall 2007, and focuses on the phenomenon of choice in a globalize economy.
Prior to his current activities, Peters was Dow Jones Markets senior Business Development executive managing the Caribbean Basin and the Atlantic markets. He subsequently held positions of Senior Vice president of Business Development at Equity One’s broadband MyshoppingCenter.com unit and was Director of Business Development at MyCity.com, the first U.S. city portal. Peters studied Journalism at the University of the West Indies, Business at Florida Memorial University, and Graduate Studies in Jazz Voice at the University of Miami.
